The original game uses a Gem Inlay Admin. Open Create Hole and inspect the target item in the interface.
- Only eligible equipment can accept a socket.
- The original guide excludes white-quality gear.

A socket is space for a gem; it does not add a gem’s bonus on its own. After creating it, choose a suitable gem and use the inlay action.
